About J-News

The J-News is a news web site of the School of Communication at Illinois State University and was established in the Fall of 2009 as part of the School¹s efforts to teach and explore the potential of online journalism. As part of the curriculum of the School, the site is designed to display the work of students - both work done for classes and work completed as part of the student staff.

An application sheet for staff membership, which takes the form of an internship, is availalable here as a downloadable Word file. The forms can be returned to the faculty supervisor, Jack Glascock (438-7969, jnews@ilstu.edu, Fell 451) Positions available each semester include reporting, Web design, online editing and photography.
